Venom continues the tradition that her mother and grandmother set before her of coming from such an outstanding litter that we just couldn’t NOT keep a puppy! Ever since she was wee, Venom was very athletic, independent, and intelligent. She has also grown up to be very playful, confident, and motivated. Venom has a beautiful temperament and is a ‘friend to all’- also following strongly in her maternal line there. Her best friends include our kitty Gollum and her two young cohorts, Pounce and Coolio- but she can entice anyone to play with her!
Venom calling in life is as the lead dog on our Labrador sled team. She is the most naturally talented sled dog I’ve trained to date- fast, focused and clear headed. She also loves dock diving and with her athleticism, she would be well suited for agility. She is particularly famous for her incredible vertical bounce! Venom also has all the traits we’d want to see in a talented search and rescue dog and though we know she won’t personally train for that, it is likely that she’ll end up training for shed hunting or nosework in the future as a means of putting that super sniffer to work.
Venom is not an anomaly though- her siblings are talented in multitude of sports. Several are rocking their agility training, one brother has dock diving records and another is already a Master Hunter! One is a therapy dog at a pediatrician’s office. Yet another has earned his Agility Championship. These dogs are very smart, drivey, trainable and a joy to watch in action.
Venom’s next litter will be born in late 2022.
