Mezzetta- or Mezzy as her friends know her, was our keeper puppy from the repeat breeding of Jet and Pickle. After training two puppies from the first litter through our headstart program, we knew we wanted to have one of our own!

Mezzy is a very petite Lab who has matured to 45 lbs. She is athletic and has cat-like ability to climb and engage in parkour style activities with exceptional body awarness. She is very bright, social, and playful, but has an excellent off switch and is extremely laid back when she’s not working (which may be hard to believe when you see the intensity with which she works). Mezzy has a special bond with Erin and will go to great lengths to earn her approval.

Mezzy is enjoying training for dock diving, obedience and agility, but her favorite sport is upland hunting and she is AMAZING at this. Her very strong nose, instinct, soft mouth and perseverance make her a bird finding machine! Currently, Mezzy’s main job is as demo dog for canine fitness classes that Erin teaches for the local dog club. This winter she’ll get to see what she thinks of dog sledding.
