Missie is from our first Beretta litter (sired by Ace). She is a beautiful, very dark yellow, compact, athletic little social butterfly that LOVES to retrieve- it is the ultimate reward for her. And just like her dam and grand-dam,  she is crazy about swimming and doesn’t believe there is such thing as an ‘off-season’ for water sports.  Missie has fantastic structure and is about as small as a Lab should be. She has a very kind, happy nature, and really loves people and other dogs. She has been training for Dock jumping competition and shed hunting, and has all the right talents to make a nationally competitive agility or flyball dog. In her first dock diving event, Missie jumped into the pro division with a personal best of 20.1″. She also earned a 1st place in xtreme retrieve semi-pro division!  At the next event which was the BC championship, Missie earned a 3rd in the semi-pro Retrieve division and a 2nd in semi-pro X-treme Air- while being handled by our vet Dr. Bianca Scheidt! Missie’s last competition for the year was the Canadian Championship. She had a strong weekend against tough competition and ended moving to the Pro divison (7th place) in the Retrieve event and finished 4th in the Semi-Pro Air division!  She has siblings excelling in the following  venues: Avalanche Search and Rescue, Ground Search, agility, rally obedience, hunting, and dock diving.

Puppies from Missie’s first litters are doing great in their training as hunting dogs, search and rescue dogs  and competitors and make fantastic family dogs. Missie’s last litter is on the ground now, see puppy page for details.
