4 Weeks Old!

The Paw Patrollers are 4 weeks old today! It is a big week as they have become very interested in toys, in climbing things (like onto a lap), and they have sprouted teeth, eeek! Tonight they even had their first meal of meat mush as the start to the gradual weaning process. (Trust me, as soon as Mayhem felt those teeth, she made this request!)

Continued mild weather means more trips outside and the puppies are much more comfortable out there now. I’ve still been bringing a mat out, but now it’s more to try to anchor them in place for some photos. They are perfectly happy to leave the mat and go exploring on the snowy ground.

The Black Boys: Rubble, Marshall and Ryder

The Chocolates- Tracker and Everest

The Black Girls- Coral and Zuma

Some highlights from this week:

Adorable social interactions- playing bitey face, wrestling. pouncey actions and bite inhibition begins! They also had their first meal of mush tonight, which they dove right into. Momma Mayhem loves when weaning starts, because it relieves a bit of the pressure of nursing (less pleasant now that there are teeth involved) plus, she gets the leftovers.
