Kenji’s 5 Generation pedigree is HERE
In early 2023 we heard about two puppies who were still looking for just the right home from very interesting breeding at Maljax Labradors. One of the puppies was specifically looking to end up in a sporty or working situations and thus- we ended up with him, sweet baby Kenji! Kenji’s pedigree is uncommon for us, as about 3/4 of it is showlines, including his sire Lincoln who was the number 1 show Labrador in Canada for 2023.
Kenji has grown up to be an amazing dog. His good nature and smart, eager attitude is surpassed only by his lovely smaller frame and excellent structure. Kenji LOVES to train- he is very food and toy-motivated and eager to solve puzzles with curiosity and style.
To date, Kenji has been competing in dock diving where he’s earned his Dock Diving Senior title using on the first part of the dock. In his second full season, Kenji has been putting up distance jumps over 20 feet and was a strong contender in the 2025 Western Cup Challenge. Kenji has a keen nose and a natural soft mouth retrieve which so far, we have put to use for shed antler hunting. He has also been started in nosework and waterfowl training, and ran on our dog sledding team in 2025!
One of Kenji’s first training sessions as a baby! (Look at that little tail!)
