We are so excited for Arwen’s first litter to arrive! This breeding combo harkens back to some of the original Eromit litters since Arwen is a grand-daughter of Ace, and Coolio is a son of Ruger. Litters similar to this breeding have been exceptional agility dogs, search and rescue dogs, flyball dogs, dock diving, obedience, and hunting dogs. And of course- with the trademark Eromit off-switch that helps them also excel as family dogs for active families. Coolio has sired one litter previously and those puppies have been proving that these talents do run strong in his genes.

Besides their athletic prowess and trainability, both Arwen and Coolio are known and loved for their excellent temperaments. Coolio is a very affectionate, friendly and outgoing guy who is buddies with every human and dog he’s ever met. Arwen makes friends wherever she goes and tends to be particularly sweet, calm and mild mannered in social settings compared to her drive and enthusiasm when working!

General note about size predictions: We do our best to predict expected adult size ranges in our litters but the genetics of size are complex- the only way to guarantee that you get an adult Labrador of a specific size is to actually get an adult dog, rather than a puppy. That said, it’s most common for females from our breeding program to fall between 45 and 55 pounds, and males tend to be 60-75 pounds. Females are *usually* under 22 inches and males are *usually* over 22″ at the shoulder. For THIS specific litter, we expect females to be on the smaller end of the spectrum and males to run through the usual range.
